Texas homeowner planning tool
Texas Pest Control Cost Calculator
Explore published Texas price examples, check what the work includes, and compare two written quotes over the first year.
General pests · Termites · Rodents · Bed bugs

Planning references, not a quote or statewide average. These are selected public Texas examples, not Bro’s rates or a survey of Texas homes. They do not confirm service availability. No invented city, ZIP-code or severity multipliers are applied.
1 / Build a transparent reference budget
What service are you comparing?
Choose the scope first. The result names its source, shows the arithmetic, and keeps your known extras separate. A provider should inspect the property and confirm the complete price.
Enter inspections, repairs, monitoring, preparation or taxes only when confirmed in writing. Zero does not mean those costs are included or free.

Published Texas prices: compare the units
A visit, a recurring payment, an installation and a treated room are different units. These examples retain their original scope and geography.
| Scope | Published reference | Source and limits |
|---|---|---|
| One-time general pest visit | $150 | Noble Pest & Termite ↗ · Houston-area example; not an ongoing plan. |
| Quarterly general pest plan | Contract: $150 initial + $90 per later service, starting prices. No contract: $200 initial + $100 per later service, starting prices. | Say Bugman ↗ · New Boston-area rate board, homes up to 2,500 sq. ft. Contract: one year, autopay, $90 early cancellation. Non-contract restart after a pause over 90 days triggers another initial charge. |
| Liquid termite treatment | $850–$2,200 | Piney Woods Pest Guard ↗ · Nacogdoches-area published references. Its site describes a connection service using independent professionals; prices need confirmation with the actual provider. |
| Termite bait-system installation | $950–$1,600; published monitoring after year one: $225/year | |
| Rodent exclusion and sealing | $325–$950 | |
| Bed bug treatment | $250 per room | Noble Pest & Termite ↗ · Houston-area reference; confirm method, rooms, preparation and follow-up before multiplying. |
No promotional discounts are modeled. A plus sign means the source labels the amount a starting price; it is not a maximum. Texas examples can differ substantially from a proposal for your property.
3 / Replace references with your written prices
Compare two first-year quote totals
Count payments, not visits. If the initial charge includes the first appointment, count only later billable payments. For a one-time job, keep additional payments at zero.
Written quote A
Written quote B
Enter both initial charges to compare the totals.
Each total = initial charge + additional payment × payment count + other required costs and taxes. A lower total does not establish equal coverage or better value. Include only charges due in the first 12 months.
4 / Match the scope before comparing totals
What changes the real proposal?
Visits, payments and contracts
Monthly billing can pay for quarterly visits. Ask for both schedules. Count only later payments if the initial charge includes the first visit, and compare cancellation and renewal terms.
Compare one-time and recurring plans →Termites: installation vs. monitoring
Liquid treatment and bait systems are different approaches. Ask which termite evidence was found, how the proposed method addresses it, and whether monitoring, renewal, retreatment or damage repairs are priced separately.
Review treatment and cost questions →Rodents: removal vs. sealing
Closing entry points is a separate scope from trapping, station service and contaminated-material cleanup. Ask the provider to show the openings, explain the sequence of work, and specify follow-up checks.
Texas guidance on hiring for rodent control ↗Bed bugs: count the covered rooms
A per-room example is useful only when the proposal defines what a room includes. Ask about adjacent rooms, furniture, preparation, repeat visits and how success will be checked.

Note slab or pier-and-beam construction, crawlspace access, attached and detached buildings, shared walls, visible entry gaps and the affected indoor and outdoor areas. Bring photos and dates of activity. Ask which findings justify each line item rather than applying an unsupported home-size multiplier.
Ask for the company’s legal name and relevant credentials. Texas Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Service ↗ provides licensing and consumer resources. Compare written proposals before arranging work.
5 / Add the local context
Find your Texas city guide
Explore local pest topics, planning resources and area-reference maps. A city guide does not change the reference prices or confirm coverage for your address.

Is this a Texas average or a Bro’s quote?
No. It uses a small set of named public Texas examples. An independent provider confirms the pest, scope, availability and complete price for your property.
Why does a quarterly plan show a plus sign?
The rate board labels its rates starting prices. The calculator preserves that limit: adding payments and extras does not turn a starting price into a maximum.
Does quarterly service mean four additional payments?
Not necessarily. If the initial fee includes the first visit, three later quarterly payments may fit the first year. The editable count of three is an illustration; use your actual billing schedule.
Does a city or ZIP code change the calculator result?
No. We have not measured local price differences that support a location multiplier. Describe access, affected areas and property conditions to the provider.
Are inspections, taxes and repairs included?
Only the displayed reference and costs you enter appear in the arithmetic. Ask for mandatory extras, tax and exclusions in writing. Repairs, ongoing monitoring and lodging or preparation can be separate.
Can I compare renewal costs?
The written-quote tool totals the first 12 months. Compare later monitoring, renewal and cancellation charges separately; do not combine a one-time installation with a recurring program as if they cover identical work.
Sources and calculation methodology
Compiled by Bro’s Pest Control. Checked October 25, 2026. These selected public examples are not a representative price survey, endorsement or confirmation that the businesses belong to Bro’s network. Publishing a price does not verify a provider’s license or availability.

Reference arithmetic: a one-time amount or range plus entered extras; a recurring example adds the later payment multiplied by your count; a per-room example multiplies by the covered room count. Open starting prices retain a plus sign. Enter nonnegative dollar amounts and whole-number counts. The written-quote comparison uses your initial charge + later payment × payment count + other required costs and taxes. No calculator entries are submitted or stored by this tool.
